This is 1973,when David and Nancy started with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.

The first "Non Indian" to learnt the Ashtanga sequences.

From here it was brought to the west.

David taught Bryan Kest (among many others) He (Bryan) made it more accessible to all students and Power Yoga,

was born.

This poster is over 20 years old and shows an early 1st series sequence of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. and Sharath .
